| NFL Week 8 | Sunday, November 1, 2026The NFL delivered one hell of a Sunday. Twelve games, two overtime finishes, a quarterback injury on the opening snap, a previously undefeated team finally taking its first loss, and a Tampa Bay team that somehow won a football game without completing a single pass.
There was plenty to digest for fans, fantasy managers, DFS players and bettors. Several playoff races shifted, some fantasy values skyrocketed, and a few established stars suddenly have serious questions surrounding their production. Every stat below comes from the final box scores on our NFL box score page. Let's break it all down.

GAME-BY-GAME RECAPS
CARDINALS 33, COWBOYS 30 (OT)
Arizona pulls off the comeback of the afternoon. Dallas led 17-3 before Arizona benched Jacoby Brissett (10 of 23, 119 yards, one interception) for Gardner Minshew II, and suddenly the Cardinals offense came alive. Minshew threw three touchdown passes, including the 13-yarder to Michael Wilson with 10 seconds left that tied it. Chad Ryland missed the extra point that would have won it in regulation, then hit a 42-yard field goal in overtime.
Players who mattered:
- Gardner Minshew II: 17 of 23, 188 yards and 3 touchdowns after entering the game.
- Tyler Allgeier: 147 rushing yards, 44 receiving yards and 2 total touchdowns, including a 63-yard run.
- Michael Wilson: 8 catches, 111 yards and a touchdown.
- Trey McBride: 7 catches, 72 yards and a touchdown.
- Dak Prescott: 195 passing yards, a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
Fantasy impact: Allgeier was one of Sunday's biggest fantasy winners. Jeremiyah Love (9 carries, 23 yards) left the game and is listed questionable on our NFL injury report, which makes Allgeier one of the most important waiver names heading into next week. Dallas needs answers: CeeDee Lamb had just 7 catches for 58 yards, and the Cowboys ran for 93 yards on 39 carries.

BENGALS 43, TITANS 36 (OT)
Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins put on a show in arguably the most entertaining game of the afternoon. Tennessee came out swinging, led 13-0 after one quarter and still led 36-29 with 3:52 left. Cam Ward was sharp all day, and Tony Pollard kept finding running room.
But Joe Burrow wasn't going to let this one slip away. He hit Tee Higgins for the tying touchdown with 1:21 to play and won it by scrambling 9 yards in overtime. He also threw three interceptions, all to Amani Hooker, making this an unusually wild statistical afternoon.
Players who mattered:
- Joe Burrow: 38 of 48, 462 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
- Tee Higgins: 10 catches, 155 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Ja'Marr Chase: 11 catches, 141 yards and a touchdown.
- Cam Ward: 304 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Tony Pollard: 117 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: Higgins was a DFS monster, and Higgins and Chase both remain premium options in this offense. Ward deserves attention as a streaming quarterback, and Pollard keeps producing even when Tennessee loses.

BILLS 36, RAVENS 10
Baltimore's season takes another devastating turn. Lamar Jackson hurt his right thumb on Baltimore's opening play in his first game back from an ankle injury. He needs surgery and is headed to injured reserve. Backup Tyler Huntley left with a toe injury, and undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano finished the game (10 of 21, 91 yards, one interception).
Buffalo took full advantage. Josh Allen led a convincing win, and the defense held Baltimore to 144 total yards and forced three turnovers.
Players who mattered:
- Josh Allen: 289 passing yards and 3 total touchdowns.
- Dalton Kincaid: 4 catches, 86 yards and a touchdown.
- DJ Moore: 4 catches, 82 yards and a touchdown.
- Zay Flowers: zero catches on 5 targets.
- Buffalo's defense: three takeaways and four sacks.
Fantasy impact: Jackson's absence changes everything for Baltimore's receivers, and Flowers is a major downgrade until the quarterback situation stabilizes. Derrick Henry (11 carries, 53 yards, a touchdown) faces stacked boxes. Allen remains an elite option, and Buffalo's defense deserves serious consideration going forward. The Ravens host Jacksonville on Thursday night.

BUCCANEERS 16, FALCONS 0
The strangest win of the season? Tampa Bay won without completing a single pass. Read that again. Baker Mayfield went 0 for 3, and the Buccaneers still dominated Atlanta in terrible weather, running for a team-record 324 yards and intercepting Michael Penix Jr. four times: twice by Alex Anzalone, once each by Zyon McCollum and Jacob Parrish.
Players who mattered:
- Bucky Irving: 27 carries, 170 rushing yards and a touchdown.
- Kenny Gainwell: 25 carries, 140 rushing yards.
- Michael Penix Jr.: 8 of 24, 125 yards and four interceptions.
- Bijan Robinson: 19 carries, 76 yards in a shutout.
Fantasy impact: Irving remains a strong RB1 candidate, and Gainwell is an important handcuff. Don't overreact to Tampa Bay's passing numbers: the weather played a major role. Atlanta's offense, though, is a concern.

JAGUARS 42, COLTS 7
Jacksonville delivered a statement, leading 28-0 at the half. Trevor Lawrence went 10 of 14 for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns, Rayuan Lane III returned an interception 92 yards for a score, and Bhayshul Tuten had the breakout game.
Players who mattered:
- Bhayshul Tuten: 104 rushing yards, 55 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Trevor Lawrence: 210 passing yards and 3 touchdowns on 14 attempts.
- Daniel Jones: 144 passing yards, a touchdown and 2 interceptions.
- Jonathan Taylor: 8 carries for 23 yards.
Fantasy impact: Tuten is one of the biggest waiver-wire names of the week, especially in PPR. Taylor managers have reason to worry: he had 23 yards on 8 carries and was outgained by DJ Giddens in a blowout.

STEELERS 27, BROWNS 6
Pittsburgh takes control of the AFC North at 6-2. The Steelers ran for 200 yards, controlled the game physically and sacked Deshaun Watson eight times. Jaylen Warren, Rico Dowdle and Pat Freiermuth each ran for a touchdown, and Darnell Washington set one up with a 58-yard catch.
Players who mattered:
- Jaylen Warren: 143 rushing yards on 17 carries and a touchdown.
- Harold Fannin Jr.: 10 catches and 154 receiving yards.
- Deshaun Watson: 324 passing yards, no touchdowns and eight sacks.
Fantasy impact: Warren keeps establishing himself as a reliable starter. Fannin is becoming hard to ignore at tight end in both season-long and DFS.

LIONS 19, VIKINGS 15
Minnesota finally loses. The Vikings came in 6-0 and left Detroit 6-1. Detroit's defense made life difficult for Kyler Murray, Jahmyr Gibbs carried the offense, and Jameson Williams caught the decisive 7-yard touchdown from Jared Goff with 4:40 left.
Players who mattered:
- Jahmyr Gibbs: 153 rushing yards and a 30-yard touchdown.
- Jameson Williams: 4 catches, 70 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
- Kyler Murray: 210 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
- T.J. Hockenson: 4 catches, 58 yards and a touchdown.
- Justin Jefferson: 5 catches for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy impact: Gibbs continues to look like one of the most valuable backs in football. Williams deserves WR2 consideration, and Minnesota's passing game needs more consistency.

RAIDERS 38, JETS 33
The Jets' offense finally shows up; the defense doesn't. New York led 23-14 at the half, but the Raiders scored 24 second-half points. Brock Bowers was a major problem, scoring twice, and Matt Gay won it with a 53-yard field goal in the final minute.
Players who mattered:
- Braelon Allen: 147 rushing yards and a touchdown.
- Adonai Mitchell: 7 catches, 142 yards and a touchdown.
- Kirk Cousins: 247 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
- Brock Bowers: 7 catches, 92 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Mike Washington Jr.: 83 rushing yards on 25 carries.
Ashton Jeanty had only two carries, though he added three catches for 64 yards, a development worth monitoring.
Fantasy impact: Allen keeps establishing himself while Breece Hall is out. Mitchell had a monster day, but be cautious assuming that volume every week. Bowers remains elite. And for Jets fans: another Sunday, another defensive disaster.

RAMS 24, CHARGERS 9
The Rams win the battle of Los Angeles. The Chargers led 9-3 in the second quarter on three Cameron Dicker field goals, but the Rams scored the last 21 points and picked off Justin Herbert twice. The Chargers, now 0-7, were held without a touchdown again.
Players who mattered:
- Justin Herbert: 257 passing yards and 2 interceptions.
- Matthew Stafford: 157 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception.
- Blake Corum: 73 rushing yards and a 23-yard touchdown.
- Puka Nacua: 11 catches, 80 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy impact: Corum has a meaningful role alongside Kyren Williams, who also scored. He deserves flex consideration, though the shared backfield caps his ceiling. Herbert's yardage was fine, but the turnovers and lack of touchdowns are a real concern.

PATRIOTS 24, DOLPHINS 19
New England rallies behind Drake Maye. Miami led 13-3 at the half after a Malik Willis touchdown pass to Malik Washington, but Maye hit Kyle Williams for 43 yards and DeMario Douglas for 48 in the second half and ran one in himself.
- Drake Maye: 16 of 20, 199 yards, 2 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
- DeMario Douglas: 3 catches for 76 yards and a touchdown.
- Rhamondre Stevenson: 82 rushing yards with TreVeyon Henderson out.
- Malik Washington: 5 catches, 40 yards and a touchdown for Miami.
New England also had Hunter Henry and linebacker Gabe Jacas leave hurt. Both are listed questionable on our NFL injury report.

BRONCOS 28, CHIEFS 24
Denver pulls off another fourth-quarter comeback. Kansas City led 24-13 going into the fourth, but Bo Nix threw a touchdown to Nate Adkins, hit Jaylen Waddle for the two-point conversion, and Jonah Coleman ran in the go-ahead 5-yard touchdown with 2:00 left. Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns in the loss, including a 73-yarder to rookie Emmett Johnson.
- Bo Nix: 222 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Jonah Coleman: 41 rushing yards, the winning touchdown and 63 receiving yards.
- Emmett Johnson: 5 catches, 128 yards and a touchdown for Kansas City.
- Patrick Mahomes: 321 passing yards and 3 touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: Coleman is a waiver name because of his receiving role. Denver (6-2) now leads Kansas City (5-2) in the AFC West.

COMMANDERS 27, EAGLES 10

- Treylon Burks: 3 catches for 81 yards.
- Saquon Barkley: 13 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown.
- Makai Lemon: 6 catches for 57 yards.
Fantasy impact: Washington's playmakers deserve a closer look next week, while Philadelphia's run game managed 91 yards and McKee was under pressure all night.

STANDINGS AND PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
AFC: Buffalo (6-1) strengthened its hold on the AFC East. Denver (6-2) moved ahead of Kansas City (5-2) in the AFC West. Pittsburgh (6-2) won its fourth straight and sits alone atop the AFC North, with Cincinnati (5-2) right behind. Baltimore (4-4) faces a long stretch without Jackson, and the Raiders (4-4) snapped a four-game skid.
NFC: Minnesota (6-1) is unbeaten no more, and Detroit (5-2) picked up a massive division win. Washington (2-4-1) won with Daniels on the field, Arizona (3-5) earned a valuable road win, Dallas (3-5) missed a chance, and Tampa Bay's defense made a statement. See the full tables on the NFL standings and power rankings.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Sunday was a reminder of why the NFL is the most unpredictable show in sports: two overtime thrillers, a quarterback switch in Arizona, a season-changing injury in Baltimore, an unbeaten team's first loss, 324 rushing yards in Tampa Bay, and a Jets team that scored 33 and still lost.
For fantasy managers, Allgeier, Tuten, Fannin and Coleman deserve immediate attention. For DFS players, Cincinnati's passing game, Buffalo's offense and Detroit's run game are worth studying. And for bettors: don't assume yesterday's power rankings will protect you from tomorrow's upset.
