Four games headline Sunday's NBA schedule, and while it's a smaller slate, there is no shortage of fantasy and betting opportunities. Several major names are missing, rotations are shifting, and some of the most interesting DFS opportunities could come from players who normally operate in supporting roles.
From Boston and Orlando already underway to Luka Doncic and the Lakers closing out the night, here are the matchups, lines, player props, DFS targets and parlay ideas. Watch every game live in NBA Game Zone on the website, on Roku and on Amazon Fire TV, and confirm every starting five on our NBA starting lineups.

GAME 1: CELTICS AT MAGIC
Our pick on this game | Run it 10,000 times in the NBA Game Simulator | Live box score
Boston came in at 4-1, fresh off a 125-111 win over Chicago (box score), against an Orlando team without four rotation players. Paolo Banchero (ankle), Jalen Suggs (knee), Jonathan Isaac (knee) and Noah Penda (hamstring) are all out for the Magic, along with Izaiyah Nelson. Boston is without Mitchell Robinson (rest) and Devin Carter (illness).
Players to watch:
- Jayson Tatum: Boston's primary scoring weapon.
- Derrick White: points, assists and threes.
- Paul George: scoring alongside Tatum.
- Payton Pritchard: potential DFS value off the bench.
- Franz Wagner: increased offensive responsibility.
- Desmond Bane: scoring and perimeter production.
- Anthony Black: more playmaking with Suggs out.
DFS angle: Orlando's missing personnel creates extra minutes and usage for Wagner, Bane and Black.
Live update: Boston led Orlando 55-50 at halftime. Pregame bets are closed, so evaluate the live number on the NBA odds heat map before entering anything.
GAME 2: NETS AT PACERS
Our pick on this game | Run it 10,000 times in the NBA Game Simulator | Live box score
5:00 PM ET | Indiana -3.5 | Total: 230.5
This is an intriguing fantasy matchup because Indiana is without Tyrese Haliburton, its biggest offensive facilitator, and center Ivica Zubac (ankle). Aaron Nesmith is day-to-day with a hamstring injury, and T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is out. Andrew Nembhard has taken on an expanded playmaking role, while Pascal Siakam remains Indiana's top offensive option.
Brooklyn is 0-5 and has its own injuries: Egor Demin (leg) and Tyler Bilodeau (shoulder) are out, and Mikel Brown Jr. is resting. But Michael Porter Jr. and Julius Randle give the Nets weapons capable of keeping this competitive.
Players to watch:
- Pascal Siakam: points and rebounds.
- Andrew Nembhard: assists and scoring.
- Michael Porter Jr.: points and threes.
- Julius Randle: points, rebounds and assists.
- Aaron Nesmith: three-point shooting, pending final availability.
DFS value: Nembhard is interesting because of his extra responsibility without Haliburton, but don't automatically assume more responsibility translates into double-digit assists. Siakam is an attractive multi-category option, while Porter and Randle offer scoring upside.
Player prop to watch: Andrew Nembhard under 9.5 assists. Check how often he has cleared it on our NBA prop hit board before you play it.
Betting angle: Indiana is laying 3.5 at home against a winless Nets team, but the Pacers are short-handed and lost 145-125 in Miami on Friday (box score). The total of 230.5 is worth monitoring, though the injuries could affect the pace. Our call on the side and total is on the NBA verdicts page.
GAME 3: CLIPPERS AT WARRIORS
Our pick on this game | Run it 10,000 times in the NBA Game Simulator | Live box score
8:30 PM ET | Golden State -2.5 | Total: 219.5
This could be the most interesting matchup of the night from a DFS perspective. Golden State is without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green (both resting), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Moses Moody (knee) and Jimmy Butler III, and Gui Santos is day-to-day. That's an enormous amount of production missing.
The Clippers have their own problems, with Brandon Ingram, Bradley Beal (knee), Max Strus (foot) and Jordan Miller (shoulder) all out, and they lost 127-101 in Minnesota on Friday (box score). But Darius Garland gives them a capable facilitator, and Rui Hachimura is a scoring option.
Players to watch:
- Darius Garland: points and assists.
- Brandin Podziemski: increased offensive responsibility.
- Yaxel Lendeborg: scoring and rebounding.
- De'Anthony Melton: potential DFS value.
- Rui Hachimura: scoring opportunity for the Clippers.
DFS value: Podziemski is the name to investigate with Curry out. Garland can contribute in both scoring and assists, and Lendeborg is worth a look if his projected minutes hold.
Betting angle: Golden State is still dangerous at home, but missing Curry and Green changes the equation considerably. Don't automatically chase the over on 219.5 just because of the absences. Our call is on the NBA verdicts page.
GAME 4: RAPTORS AT LAKERS
Our pick on this game | Run it 10,000 times in the NBA Game Simulator | Live box score
9:00 PM ET | Lakers -4.5 | Total: 227
The Lakers return home looking to rebound from a 112-95 loss at Golden State on Friday (box score). Luka Doncic remains one of the most important fantasy players on the board, and his ability to contribute points, rebounds and assists makes him a valuable DFS option in any matchup. Adou Thiero (knee) is out for the Lakers, and Ziaire Williams (foot) is day-to-day.
Toronto is without Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Nate Bittle (foot), which takes away an important defensive presence.
Players to watch:
- Luka Doncic: points, rebounds and assists.
- Austin Reaves: scoring and playmaking.
- Walker Kessler: rebounding and interior production.
- Scottie Barnes: multi-category production.
- RJ Barrett: points and rebounds.
- Immanuel Quickley: scoring and assists.
DFS value: Doncic is one of the highest-priority plays on the slate, and Reaves is another attractive option. For Toronto, Barnes offers a strong all-around profile, and Barrett and Quickley are worth considering.
Player prop to watch: Luka Doncic over 48.5 points, rebounds and assists. See his recent results on our NBA prop hit board.
Betting angle: the Lakers are 4.5-point home favorites, and Toronto can make this competitive. The over on 227 is worth a look if both teams establish an offensive rhythm. Our call is on the NBA verdicts page.

DFS strategy: don't build a lineup by loading up on the biggest names. Monitor salary, projected minutes, usage and late injury news on the NBA injury report and NBA starting lineups. Curry's absence is especially important when evaluating Golden State's rotation. Build it in the DFS Lineup Generator, check it in the NBA DFS value page, and compare value on the NBA DFS value page.

PARLAY 1: THE THREE-LEG SPREAD PLAY
PARLAY 2: PLAYER PROP COMBINATION
- Andrew Nembhard under 9.5 assists
- Luka Doncic over 48.5 points, rebounds and assists
PARLAY 3: THE HIGHER-RISK COMBINATION
- Clippers moneyline
- Lakers moneyline
- Pascal Siakam 20 or more points
- Scottie Barnes 5 or more rebounds
These are ticket ideas, not guaranteed winners. Confirm availability and prices first. Build your own in the NBA Parlay Builder or the NBA Slip Builder, let the AI Parlay Generator build one for you, then check it in the Parlay Doctor and the parlay calculator.
TEASERS AND ALTERNATE LINES
NBA teasers aren't as standardized as NFL teasers, but alternate spreads offer a similar way to buy points:
- Clippers +7.5 instead of +2.5.
- Lakers +0.5 instead of -4.5.
- Pacers +3.5 instead of -3.5.
The trade-off is a lower payout or a more expensive price, so make sure the odds justify the risk. Work out the math in the teaser calculator.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Sunday's NBA slate may only feature four games, but the injuries create real opportunities. Golden State without Curry and Green, Indiana without Haliburton and Zubac, Orlando without Banchero and Suggs, and Toronto without Kawhi all deserve attention.
For DFS players, opportunity and minutes are everything. For prop bettors, don't chase inflated numbers just because a star is missing. And for parlay players, adding another leg doesn't necessarily make a ticket better. Four games, plenty of angles: see where everyone stands on the NBA standings and NBA power rankings, and talk about it in the FantasyDailies forum.
