NFL Sunday: Players To Watch, Fantasy Values & Props I'm Watching — Week 3

By Mark Petrozzella · September 27, 2026

September 27, 2026 — Week 3

There are a lot of ways to watch an NFL Sunday.

You can watch the games.

You can watch your fantasy lineup.

Or you can sit there staring at a sportsbook wondering why you just convinced yourself that a guy needs 87 receiving yards to make your Sunday enjoyable.

Today, we're doing all three.

The big thing today is avoiding players whose roles are being changed by late injury news, so every number below is checked against this morning's actual reports, not Tuesday's guess.

Every prop at the best available price is on the props board, BetScore sorts them 1 to 100, and the injury report carries the live version of everything mentioned below.

🔥 PLAYERS I WANT TO WATCH

JAHMYR GIBBS — RB, Detroit Lions

Jets at Lions

Gibbs is one of the first players I want in my lineup today.

The current market has him around 89.5 rushing yards, with his receiving projection around 35.5 yards. The combined opportunity is what makes Gibbs particularly interesting because Detroit doesn't have to rely exclusively on him as a traditional between-the-tackles runner.

He's also one of the strongest touchdown markets on the board, sitting around -360 to score anytime and +150 for two touchdowns.

Fantasy: Gibbs has legitimate overall RB1 potential today — several Week 3 rankings actually have him as the No. 1 back on the whole slate.

Prop I like: Gibbs OVER 89.5 rushing yards. The receiving involvement gives him another path to a monster fantasy afternoon even if the rushing number doesn't get there. Defense vs RB shows exactly how the Jets have graded against backs so far, and the hit-rate board shows how many times he's actually cleared 89.5 this season — not just his average. The Mismatch Machine crosses today's full matchup against 51 team stat ranks.

What I'm watching: if Detroit establishes control early, Gibbs could become extremely difficult to get off the field.

⭐ JOSH ALLEN — QB, Buffalo Bills

Chargers at Bills

The market has Allen around 238.5 passing yards and 33.5 rushing yards.

That's important because Allen doesn't need to throw for 300 yards to have a huge fantasy game. His rushing ability changes the equation, and Buffalo's offensive environment gives him multiple avenues to accumulate fantasy points.

The matchup helps his case too — the Chargers have allowed 262.5 passing yards per game through two weeks, one of the softer pass defenses Allen has faced all season.

Fantasy: Allen remains one of the safest high-ceiling quarterback plays on the Sunday slate.

The weather report is worth a check on this one too — wind at kickoff matters more for a passing prop than almost anything else on the sheet.

Props I like: Allen OVER 238.5 passing yards. And I have interest in Allen anytime touchdown, sitting around -140. The rushing touchdown possibility is always there with Allen. The goal-line board tracks exactly how often he's the one who punches it in himself.

🚨 DALTON KINCAID — TE, Buffalo Bills

This is one of my favorite players to watch today.

The current receiving prop is 54.5 yards, and it's the kind of number worth attacking directly.

Kincaid is particularly interesting because Buffalo's receiver situation has real injury uncertainty — DJ Moore is questionable — while Kincaid remains positioned as a major piece of Buffalo's passing game regardless of what happens at receiver.

Fantasy: strong TE option.

Prop: Kincaid OVER 54.5 receiving yards. This is one of the props I'd rather attack than chase an extremely high touchdown price. If Buffalo throws the ball consistently, Kincaid has a very realistic path to six-plus targets. The hit-rate board has his actual clear rate on 54.5 over the last five and ten games, and Defense vs TE shows exactly how the Chargers have graded against the position.

🔥 JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA — WR, Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks at Commanders

JSN is sitting at approximately 90.5 receiving yards in the current market.

That's a big number. But there's a reason the market is putting it there — and honestly, it might even be underselling him.

Smith-Njigba has gone over 100 receiving yards in both games this season, posting 122 yards in Week 1 and 155 in Week 2. He's the reigning Offensive Player of the Year off a league-leading 1,793-yard season, and right now he's been the most productive receiver in the NFL through two weeks.

Fantasy: WR1, full stop.

Prop: I prefer JSN OVER 6.5 receptions over forcing the 90.5-yard number. Why? Because receptions give him multiple ways to get there. He could catch seven passes for 65 yards and destroy the reception prop while missing the yardage number. Splits shows exactly how often he's cleared both numbers this season — which, right now, is every single time. Implied probability turns his +100 touchdown price into a plain number — right at 50% — before you decide whether that's actually a good bet.

His anytime touchdown price sits around +100, with much longer odds for first TD and two TDs.

💰 PARKER WASHINGTON — WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

This is the kind of player that gets overlooked because everybody wants to bet the biggest names.

Washington's target opportunity is worth watching. He's already hit his receiving-yardage over in both previous games, and the market remains relatively low entering today.

Fantasy: he's more of a WR3/FLEX consideration than an automatic starter.

Betting: Washington receiving yards OVER — assuming you're getting a reasonable number close to the current market. The Line Checker shows his actual hit rate over the season rather than just this week's line. He's also around +175 anytime TD — run it through the odds converter and that's roughly a 36% ask, which is a very different conversation than the yardage number. I'd rather play the yardage volume than pay the touchdown premium.

🧨 AARON RODGERS — QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Bengals at Steelers

Here's an interesting one.

The current prop is Rodgers OVER 34.5 pass attempts, at roughly even money.

That's not a glamorous bet. But sometimes the boring prop is the one worth watching. Rodgers is averaging approximately 39.5 attempts per game so far, and Pittsburgh has been throwing at a high rate.

Fantasy: Rodgers is a matchup-dependent QB option.

Prop: OVER 34.5 pass attempts. The argument isn't necessarily that Rodgers is going to throw for 350 yards. It's that Pittsburgh could simply keep throwing. The hit-rate board shows he's been over this number more often than not, and the Zebra Book has today's officiating crew if you want one more input on total pass volume.

👀 JA'MARR CHASE — WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Chase is always one of the first names I look at when Cincinnati plays Pittsburgh.

His anytime touchdown price sits around +115, which is considerably more attractive than some of the heavy favorite touchdown prices on the board.

Fantasy: automatic start.

Prop: I'm more interested in Chase receiving yards OVER if your book hangs a reasonable number rather than chasing his touchdown. But the anytime TD is certainly worth keeping on the screen. The Projection Board has our full number on him against the best available price. The +EV finder flags it automatically if that +115 number is actually paying past fair.

🏈 JONATHAN TAYLOR — RB, Indianapolis Colts

Texans at Colts

Taylor is another volume player.

The current market has him around 79.5 rushing yards, with his anytime touchdown price around -150.

Worth knowing both sides of this matchup: Houston has actually allowed only 85.5 rushing yards per game so far, one of the tighter run defenses Taylor has faced — but Indianapolis itself has surrendered an NFL-high 514.5 total yards a game, so the Colts could easily be playing from behind and leaning on him anyway.

Fantasy: RB1.

Prop: Taylor OVER 79.5 rushing yards is interesting if Indianapolis stays competitive. The touchdown market is considerably more expensive, so I'd rather attack the yardage if the price is reasonable. The unders board is worth a glance too, given how stout Houston has actually been on the ground. Team defense stats has the full season picture on both sides, and turnover stats is worth a glance too — a team playing from behind abandons the run fast, and turnover margin is usually why.

🚂 DERRICK HENRY — RB, Baltimore Ravens

Ravens at Cowboys

Henry doesn't need an introduction.

His current market is approximately 89.5 rushing yards, plus a receiving number around 10.5 yards. His anytime TD price sits around -245, with +205 for two touchdowns.

The matchup helps here too — Dallas has allowed 173.5 rushing yards per game through two weeks, one of the softer run defenses in the league right now.

Fantasy: obviously starting.

Prop: I'd rather play Henry rushing yards OVER than pay the enormous anytime-TD tax. If Baltimore gets near the Dallas goal line, however, Henry is always one of the players to watch. Defense vs RB confirms exactly how soft that Dallas run defense has actually been. The head-to-head board runs the full Ravens-Cowboys series, and our power rankings have both teams' actual stat profile behind the record.

🐆 CHUBA HUBBARD — RB, Carolina Panthers

Panthers at Browns

Hubbard is quietly interesting today.

His anytime touchdown price sits around -110, and he currently ranks inside the top 10 running backs for the week on several boards.

Fantasy: very playable RB1/RB2 depending on roster.

Prop: Hubbard anytime TD is more attractive to me than chasing a massive rushing-yard number.

The ATS board has Carolina's full record against the spread this season if you're building a bigger ticket around this game.

⚠️ PLAYERS WHO NEED INJURY ATTENTION

ZAY FLOWERS

Flowers is a legitimate game-time decision against Dallas after dealing with a hamstring injury. He flew with the team to Brazil and practiced Friday, but Baltimore hasn't been counting on him being fully available.

If he plays, his presence dramatically changes the Baltimore receiving distribution. If he sits, Rashod Bateman becomes much more interesting.

Do not lock a Flowers prop before his status is confirmed. The injury report has the live word, and it's a 4:25 kickoff — his status may not be final until the early games are already underway.

PUKA NACUA

Nacua is listed doubtful with a hip injury and is trending toward another absence — he didn't practice at all this week.

That matters enormously for the Rams. If Nacua is officially inactive, the Rams' other receiving options become much more important. But don't automatically assume somebody is going to replace his entire statistical production. That's not how NFL offenses work.

The depth chart and the transaction wire are the two pages to have open right now — the wire refreshes every fifteen minutes if either situation changes before kickoff.

JAYLEN WARREN

Warren is expected to play despite a shoulder issue.

And here's the important part: Rico Dowdle is out with a toe injury. That makes Warren's workload particularly interesting.

If Warren is active and doesn't appear limited during warmups, he's one of the more intriguing volume plays on the board.

🎯 MY PROP BOARD FOR TODAY

Players I want on my screen

Jahmyr Gibbs — OVER 89.5 rushing yards
Dalton Kincaid — OVER 54.5 receiving yards
Josh Allen — OVER 238.5 passing yards
Aaron Rodgers — OVER 34.5 pass attempts
Jonathan Taylor — OVER 79.5 rushing yards
Jaxon Smith-Njigba — OVER 6.5 receptions

Touchdown targets

Jahmyr Gibbs
Josh Allen
Jonathan Taylor
Ja'Marr Chase
Chuba Hubbard

Longer-shot TD names

Parker Washington
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Tee Higgins

Higgins is currently sitting around +170 anytime, JSN around +100.

💵 IF I WERE BUILDING A SMALL PROP CARD

I wouldn't put 10 legs together and pray to the football gods.

I'd rather attack a few volume-based props.

CARD A — VOLUME

Dalton Kincaid OVER 54.5 receiving yards
Aaron Rodgers OVER 34.5 pass attempts
Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 6.5 receptions

CARD B — RB WORKLOAD

Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 89.5 rushing yards
Jonathan Taylor OVER 79.5 rushing yards

CARD C — TD SPRINKLES

Ja'Marr Chase anytime TD
Chuba Hubbard anytime TD
Parker Washington anytime TD

Whichever card you build, devig the number first to see what it's really asking of you, and Kelly sizes the stake once you've got a real edge. The Parlay Doctor grades any combination A through F before you fire it — and it's worth running Card C through specifically, since anytime-TD legs from the same game are more correlated than they look. Or skip building it by hand entirely and let the parlay generator draft off today's actual card.

The key distinction is that the first two cards are based more heavily on expected opportunity, while touchdown bets are inherently more volatile.

And that's the whole point of today's slate:

Don't just bet the player. Bet the workload.

A running back getting 20 touches can survive a mediocre matchup. A receiver getting eight targets has multiple ways to beat a yardage line. A quarterback throwing 38 times doesn't care that his team can't run the ball.

That's where I'm looking first on Sunday.

THE FULL TOOLKIT, IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER ON ANY OF THIS

Checking whether a number is actually worth betting: the hit-rate board shows how often every player on the slate has actually cleared a given threshold, Splits breaks that down over the last 5, 10 and 20 games specifically, and the Line Checker lets you type any number and see the history behind it.

Pricing it properly: implied probability turns any American price into the plain win rate it demands, the odds converter does the same from the other direction, devig strips the vig to find the fair line underneath, and the +EV finder flags anything on the board paying past fair automatically.

Shopping and timing it: the heat map puts nine books side by side on every number above, and line movement shows whether you're early or late on a number that's already moved since the market opened.

The matchup itself: the Mismatch Machine crosses every game against 51 team stat ranks, Schedule Spots reads rest edges and short weeks against 25 years of history, the head-to-head board runs the full series between any two teams, and the Zebra Book has every crew working today with their tendencies attached.

Team-level numbers: offense and defense stats for every team ranked 1 to 32, turnover stats for the most unstable number in football, explosive plays allowed for the sharpest read on a total, power rankings for where a team actually stands, and the ATS board for how it's covered.

Building the actual ticket: the parlay generator drafts off today's real card, the teaser generator finds legs crossing both key numbers, the half-point calculator prices exactly what a hook is worth, the Parlay Doctor grades anything you've already built A through F, the hedge calculator computes the exact opposite-side stake if a ticket's still live late, and Kelly sizes the whole thing.

Playing DFS instead of straight bets: DFS Edge prices salary against real production, the lineup optimizer builds around it, and the tournament math — rake, duplication, overlay, exposure, correlation, swap EV — is the difference between a great lineup and a great tournament entry.

Setting a lineup instead of betting it: import your team, let the Roster Doctor grade everyone you own, settle the close calls in Start or Sit or the start/sit board, and check the depth chart, the injury report and player cards for anyone whose role might be moving.

After the bet: CLV tracks whether you actually beat the close or just got lucky — that's the number that separates a good process from a good week. The bonus bet converter is there if you're working off free-play credit instead of cash.

Every call we make ourselves is on the verdict slate, locked twenty minutes before kickoff and graded the next morning on the public ledger — the calibration page tracks whether that confidence has actually meant anything. The full Week 3 board has every game today, and the site directory has literally everything else FantasyDailies does if something above wasn't quite what you needed.

Setting a lineup instead of betting it? Import your team, let the Roster Doctor grade everyone you own, and settle the close calls in Start or Sit. Everything else lives in the Money Room.

Prop lines move. Always check the number and odds available at your sportsbook before placing a wager. These are analysis and projections, not guarantees. 21+. 1-800-GAMBLER.
