The NFL injury report is getting to the point where you can't just look at the word QUESTIONABLE and move on.
Some questionable players practiced all week and look like they're going. Others barely practiced and are legitimate game-time decisions. Then there are the players who have already been ruled out, creating opportunities for backups who weren't even on most fantasy managers' radar 48 hours ago.
And this week has another wrinkle: several betting lines have already moved substantially based on personnel news.
So here's the Sunday injury tracker you actually want before setting fantasy lineups or putting money down. The full injury report has every team, and the transaction wire refreshes every fifteen minutes if anything changes before kickoff.
🚨 THE BIGGEST GAME-TIME DECISIONS
ZAY FLOWERS —
Ravens — QUESTIONABLE
This is one of the most important fantasy decisions of the entire Sunday slate.
Flowers is dealing with a hamstring injury and was limited Friday after not practicing Wednesday or Thursday. Baltimore travels to Dallas for the 4:25 ET game — the first-ever NFL regular season game in Brazil. He flew with the team and practiced Friday in Rio, which is a genuine step forward, though he's still being described as very questionable with only "some hope" attached.
Fantasy impact: If Flowers plays, he remains a major part of Lamar Jackson's passing attack. If he sits, the target distribution becomes considerably more concentrated among Baltimore's other weapons — Rashod Bateman would likely reclaim the WR1 role he held the last time Flowers sat.
Betting impact: This one matters because Baltimore is already laying 3.5 points, up from an opening number of 2.5. The total has climbed toward the low 50s.
Flowers' availability could affect both the Ravens' offensive ceiling and the way bettors view the total.
Bottom line: Don't lock in Ravens receiving props early if you're waiting on Flowers — with a 4:25 kickoff, his status may not be confirmed until the early games are already underway. The props board and BetScore are worth a recheck closer to kickoff.
🟠 MIKE EVANS —
49ers — QUESTIONABLE
This is another monster fantasy decision.
Evans is listed questionable with a hip injury after San Francisco already lost Nick Bosa, who is officially out with a calf injury and expected to miss multiple weeks.
The 49ers are still heavily favored against Arizona, sitting around -8.5 with the total in the high 40s.
Fantasy impact if Evans plays: He remains an obvious target in an explosive San Francisco offense. If Evans sits: expect more opportunity for Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, both projectable around a 20% target share in that scenario — Kittle in particular could see a real snap-share bump given San Francisco's compressed early-season schedule.
Betting impact: Bosa being out hurts San Francisco's defense. Evans being out would hurt the offense. Those are two very different types of injury news hitting the same team.
And that's why this game deserves monitoring right up until kickoff.
🟠 DJ MOORE —
Bills — QUESTIONABLE
Buffalo has two receivers worth watching closely: DJ Moore (shoulder) and Keon Coleman (ankle), both questionable.
Both were limited Friday, and coach Joe Brady said Moore specifically will be a true game-time decision.
That's exactly the kind of injury situation fantasy managers hate.
You don't know whether you're getting a full workload, a limited workload or a late inactive.
Fantasy implications: If Moore and Coleman both play, Buffalo retains its preferred receiver rotation. If one sits, the surviving receivers become considerably more attractive in DFS and season-long fantasy. If both somehow sit, the target distribution changes dramatically.
Do not assume "questionable" means one thing here.
🟠 ADONAI MITCHELL —
Jets — QUESTIONABLE
Mitchell is dealing with a finger injury and is listed questionable.
The encouraging news: he was limited Thursday and Friday rather than missing practice entirely.
The Jets have already ruled out Mason Taylor (toe), Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin) and linebacker Francisco Mauigoa (quad). Kene Nwangwu is out with a back injury, while Joseph Ossai is questionable with a foot injury.
Why Mitchell matters: he's been one of the more interesting pieces of the Jets' passing game early this season. If he plays, he's worth monitoring for volume. If he sits, the Jets' receiver distribution gets thinner and Garrett Wilson becomes even more important.
And this isn't just fantasy news.
Detroit opened as a 9.5-point favorite, but the spread has fallen to Lions -6.5. That's a three-point move.
Whatever the reasons behind the movement, the betting market has clearly become much less enthusiastic about laying a huge number with Detroit.
🟠 BROCK BOWERS —
Raiders — QUESTIONABLE
Bowers is still waiting to make his 2026 season debut.
The Raiders have him listed questionable with a knee injury, against New Orleans.
He was limited Wednesday and Thursday, then sat out Friday — but head coach Klint Kubiak said that absence was planned rather than a setback. More importantly, the Raiders don't plan to have him go through a pregame workout this week.
That makes this one particularly interesting.
Fantasy: if Bowers suddenly gets cleared, you can't simply assume he's going to receive a normal workload after missing the first two games. But his presence changes the entire Raiders offense. If he doesn't play, the target tree remains thinner. The goal-line board shows exactly who's been absorbing that role in his absence.
Betting: this is the kind of player whose absence can affect player props more than the actual point spread.
For DFS, however, Bowers is potentially a major late-news bomb.
🟠 JAYLEN WARREN —
Steelers — QUESTIONABLE
This could completely change the Pittsburgh backfield ahead of their game against Cincinnati.
Rico Dowdle is out with a toe injury.
Warren is questionable with a shoulder injury, though the expectation is he plays and sees all the work he can handle.
If Warren can't play, Pittsburgh could be forced to rely heavily on Travis Homer, who would potentially be elevated from the practice squad, along with rookie Eli Heidenreich.
Fantasy alert: this is one of those situations where the backup isn't necessarily a sexy fantasy play — but volume can create fantasy value. If Warren is inactive, Homer becomes a player to watch immediately.
And if you're playing DFS, don't wait until Sunday afternoon to figure out who the Steelers' backup running back is.
🟠 BRIAN BURNS —
Giants — QUESTIONABLE
Burns is questionable with an ankle injury and, unlike some of the other players on this list, didn't practice all week.
That's a giant red flag.
Deonte Banks (calf) and Tyler Nubin (calf) are also questionable, both limited throughout the week.
The Giants are already dealing with a major quarterback situation after Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury and underwent surgery Friday — a meniscus repair, with MCL and PCL damage also present, addressed as needed. His expected recovery timeline is four-to-six months.
So the Giants aren't exactly entering Sunday with a clean injury sheet.
🟠 TYJAE SPEARS —
Titans — QUESTIONABLE
Spears is questionable with an ankle injury, against the Giants.
He was limited Friday after missing the first two practices of the week.
The good news for Tennessee fantasy managers is that Tony Pollard is expected to play after being limited during the week.
If Spears is inactive, Pollard's workload becomes even more interesting.
🟠 CHARVARIUS WARD —
Colts — QUESTIONABLE
Ward is questionable with a groin injury but fully participated Friday.
That's considerably more encouraging than some of the players above.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis will be without Alec Pierce and Ashton Dulin, and Michael Pittman Jr. is also questionable with a foot injury.
Houston will be without Nico Collins, which is enormous news for the Texans passing game — the Texans are also missing Jadeveon Clowney, M.J. Stewart, Jake Hummel and Ed Ingram.
🚨 CONFIRMED ABSENCES THAT CREATE FANTASY OPPORTUNITIES
NICO COLLINS —
Texans — OUT
This is one of the biggest offensive injuries of the week.
Collins is out with a hamstring injury.
Houston also loses Jadeveon Clowney, M.J. Stewart, Jake Hummel and Ed Ingram.
Fantasy impact: the Texans simply don't have the same passing-game ceiling without Collins. That means increased opportunity for the remaining Houston pass catchers. It also puts additional pressure on the Houston running game.
🚨 NICK BOSA —
49ers — OUT
Bosa's calf injury is expected to keep him out for multiple weeks — he actually shows up on the injury report with both a knee and calf issue.
San Francisco is discussing whether to place him on injured reserve, although Kyle Shanahan does not believe the injury will keep Bosa out for a significant portion of the season.
Betting significance: this is the defensive injury that could matter more than the fantasy implications. Arizona is facing a 49ers defense without one of its premier pass rushers. That potentially increases the pressure on the San Francisco offense to score enough points to cover a relatively large spread.
🚨 JAYDEN DANIELS —
Commanders — OUT
Daniels is out with the elbow injury.
Marcus Mariota will start.
That's not speculation anymore.
The Commanders have a genuinely long injury list beyond Daniels: Chig Okonkwo (hamstring), Frankie Luvu (groin), Sam Cosmi (concussion and throat) and Nick Cross (illness) are all out.
Fantasy: Mariota changes Washington's offensive profile. He's capable of adding rushing production, but obviously this isn't the same fantasy environment Washington has when Daniels is available.
Betting: quarterback substitutions are among the most important injury situations to monitor because they can move both the spread and team totals.
🚨 PUKA NACUA —
Rams — DOUBTFUL
Nacua is listed doubtful with a hip injury after failing to practice all week.
That's basically the "prepare as if he's not playing" category unless something dramatic happens Sunday.
The Rams already demonstrated last week that they can manufacture offense without him, with Matthew Stafford throwing four touchdowns and Davante Adams exploding for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy: Davante Adams becomes the obvious beneficiary. But don't overlook Terrance Ferguson, who had six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown last week without Nacua.
Betting: the Rams-Broncos total has ticked up slightly this week while the Rams remain around -2.5. That movement is interesting considering Nacua's status.
🟢 PLAYERS WHO RETURN FROM INJURY — DON'T OVERLOOK THEM
KYLER MURRAY —
Vikings — CLEARED, STARTING
Worth its own entry, because it's the biggest quarterback return of the week and it isn't on most trackers.
Murray has been fully off the injury report since last Monday — cleared concussion protocol days before this week's report even started, which is exactly why he doesn't show up on a same-day tracker focused on this week's live decisions. He's starting today against Tampa Bay, no designation attached.
He exited Week 1 after just 11 snaps, hit while sliding on a scramble, and missed Week 2 entirely. Carson Wentz went 2-0 in relief, including last week's 9-3 win at Chicago. This is effectively Murray's first true start at full health with this team.
Aaron Jones is also fully cleared for this game after his 105-yard, 23-carry outing last week, and Minnesota's defensive line has two more players (Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, Brian O'Neill) cleared to play as well.
SAM DARNOLD —
Seahawks — EXPECTED TO PLAY
Darnold returns after missing time with a glute injury.
That's significant. Seattle will have its starting quarterback back, while rookie running back Jadarian Price also practiced fully Friday after leaving last week's game with a chest injury.
This is a good example of an injury report producing positive news, not just bad news.
AARON JONES —
Vikings — CLEARED
Jones progressed from did not practice → limited → full participation and has no injury designation.
That's exactly the injury progression fantasy managers want to see.
He should be treated as available rather than as a player needing a last-second replacement.
🟢 SAQUON BARKLEY — CLEARED
Barkley has no injury designation and will play Monday night against
Bears.
That's important because Chicago will already be without Caleb Williams.
🚨 MONDAY NIGHT: DON'T GO TO BED ON THIS ONE
Eagles @
Bears
Caleb Williams — OUT. Williams didn't practice all week with a hamstring injury.
But the Bears have another quarterback situation to watch: Tyson Bagent — QUESTIONABLE. Bagent returned Saturday and practiced fully after working through concussion protocol. If he's cleared, Chicago must decide whether he starts. If he isn't, Case Keenum would start.
That's a gigantic late-week fantasy and betting variable.
The Eagles also ruled out Hollywood Brown, Dallas Goedert and Fred Johnson.
Jonathan Greenard is questionable but practiced fully Saturday.
💰 THE BIGGEST BETTING-LINE MOVES CAUSED BY PERSONNEL NEWS
Jets @
Lions
Opened: Lions -9.5
Current: Lions -6.5, Total 47.5
That's the biggest movement on the board this week.
Ravens @
Cowboys
Opened: Ravens -2.5
Current: Ravens -3.5, Total 52.5
Flowers' status remains important to the Baltimore offensive ceiling.
Rams @
Broncos
Spread: Rams -2.5 (Broncos +2.5)
Total: approximately 44.5
Puka remains doubtful, but Los Angeles has already shown it can produce without him.
Cardinals @
49ers
San Francisco is sitting around -8.5, with the total in the high 40s.
The interesting injury combination is Nick Bosa OUT + Mike Evans QUESTIONABLE.
One hurts the defense. One potentially hurts the offense.
That's exactly the type of situation where the pregame number deserves another look before kickoff — the heat map shows where each book actually has it right now.

THE BOTTOM LINE
This is one of those weeks where the final injury report isn't just fantasy housekeeping — it can materially change the entire Sunday slate.
The biggest thing to remember is that questionable does not equal questionable across the board.
Flowers missed two practices before returning Friday.
Bowers didn't practice Friday, but that one was planned.
Burns didn't practice all week.
Mike Evans remains a legitimate late decision.
Meanwhile, players such as Aaron Jones, Saquon Barkley and Jadarian Price have shown much more encouraging practice trends.
And then you have the quarterbacks.
Jayden Daniels is out.
Jaxson Dart is out for months.
Caleb Williams is out Monday.
Tyson Bagent is still waiting on clearance.
Sam Darnold is returning.
Kyler Murray is back to full health, even if he never technically appeared on this week's report.
That's a hell of a lot of quarterback movement for Week 3.
For fantasy managers, don't set your lineup based on Tuesday's injury report.
For bettors, don't assume the number you're seeing Saturday night is the number you'll see at kickoff.
And for DFS players, Sunday morning inactive announcements could create some of the best value on the entire slate.
One final note: injury designations can still change before kickoff, so the Sunday inactive lists remain the final checkpoint. The injury report carries every update as it lands.
Setting a lineup around all of this? Import your team, let the Roster Doctor regrade everyone against today's news, and settle the close calls in Start or Sit or the start/sit board. The free agent wire is where the backups mentioned above are worth grabbing before your league notices.
Betting it? Every prop at the best price, BetScore sorting them 1 to 100, Splits for how often a player has actually cleared a number, and the unders board for lines hung too high on a name that might not play. The Line Checker and the heat map round it out. Our own call on every game is on the verdict slate, locked before kickoff and graded the next morning on the public ledger — the calibration page tracks whether that confidence has actually meant anything.
Injury statuses current as of Sunday morning, September 27, 2026 — designations can still change before kickoff. 21+. 1-800-GAMBLER.
