Sunday's 1:00 PM NFL window delivered just about everything fantasy football and DFS players could ask for — except maybe some better quarterback play.
Nine games kicked off at 1:00 PM Eastern, and several came down to the final possessions. The biggest storylines included Buffalo surviving despite five turnovers, Detroit holding off a furious Jets comeback that briefly tied the game, Jacksonville destroying New England, Washington escaping Seattle in the wildest finish of the day, and Kansas City improving to 3-0.

Jaguars 35, 
Patriots 6
Jacksonville absolutely hammered New England.
The Jaguars scored 28 consecutive points after the Patriots briefly made it a 7-3 game, turning the afternoon into a blowout.
Trevor Lawrence finished 19-of-29 for 182 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Jakobi Meyers caught seven passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, while Bhayshul Tuten rushed for 73 yards and a score.
The Patriots generated 317 yards but committed three turnovers. Drake Maye completed 14 of 25 for 199 yards with two interceptions.
Fantasy takeaway: the Jacksonville offense deserves attention after producing 35 points, while New England's turnovers completely destroyed its ability to stay competitive. Full box score →
Lions 31, 
Jets 24
The Jets put together a genuinely furious fourth-quarter comeback — briefly tying the game 24-24 with 4:06 left after converting a two-point try — before Detroit answered one more time.
Geno Smith was excellent, completing 31 of 37 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Garrett Wilson had 10 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown that needed a booth review to overturn an initial ruling of down at the 1 — New York challenged, and the review confirmed he'd broken the plane. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq added a 24-yard touchdown catch as part of a 105-yard afternoon.
But Jahmyr Gibbs was the actual difference-maker, and he did it three different ways. Gibbs finished with 99 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, then added the game-winning score himself with an 11-yard reception with 2:30 left, capping a three-touchdown afternoon.
Detroit's offense produced 381 total yards compared with New York's 335. The Jets had one more chance late, but the Lions' defense — which finished with five sacks — closed it out.
Fantasy takeaway: Gibbs was a monster three-touchdown fantasy performance across both the ground and the air. Garrett Wilson also delivered despite the loss. The ugly number for the Jets was the other running back: Breece Hall managed only 32 yards on 13 carries. Full box score →
Bills 24, 
Chargers 16
This game was bizarre.
Buffalo won and improved to 3-0, but the Bills committed five turnovers.
Josh Allen threw for 204 yards and two interceptions but ran for two touchdowns. James Cook was the offensive star, rushing 24 times for 154 yards and a touchdown.
The Chargers actually held a 10-0 first-quarter lead before Buffalo gradually took control. Los Angeles finished with 348 yards compared with Buffalo's 350, but the five turnovers proved impossible to overcome.
Fantasy takeaway: Cook's 154 rushing yards were the headline. Allen's rushing touchdowns again provided a huge fantasy floor even though his passing numbers were ordinary. Full box score →
Chiefs 24, 
Dolphins 10
Kansas City remains undefeated at 3-0.
Patrick Mahomes completed 20 of 24 passes for 246 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Rashee Rice led Kansas City with seven catches for 88 yards, while Travis Kelce caught two passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Kenneth Walker III added 70 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Miami actually ran 67 offensive plays to Kansas City's 49, but the Dolphins couldn't turn that volume into enough points. Malik Willis completed 20 of 36 passes for 210 yards with no touchdowns and an interception.
Fantasy takeaway: Kelce's touchdown was obviously important, but Rice's seven catches remain significant from a volume standpoint. Full box score →
Commanders 33, 
Seahawks 31
This was the craziest game of the afternoon, and it deserves the full sequence rather than the highlight version.
Seattle generated 437 total yards and still lost. Sam Darnold threw for 393 yards and four touchdowns, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba exploded for 10 catches, 128 yards and two touchdowns.
So how did Seattle lose a game it dominated statistically? Washington scored on both sides of the ball.
Marcus Mariota threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns without an interception, connecting with Terry McLaurin for a 30-yard score among them. And after Washington kicked a field goal to lead 27-24 with 4:39 left, Darnold threw the play that decided the game: an interception at Washington's own 50-yard line that safety K. Medrano returned for a touchdown, making it 33-24.
Cooper Kupp caught a late touchdown to pull Seattle within two, 33-31, but Washington ran out the final 2:51.
Fantasy takeaway: JSN was one of the biggest fantasy winners of the entire early slate despite Seattle losing. Darnold's four touchdown passes — on a corrected 393 yards, not the smaller number some recaps are citing — also made him one of the day's biggest DFS performers, pick-six notwithstanding. Giants 12, 
Titans 7
This was the opposite of a fantasy explosion. New York's defense and kicking game carried the Giants to victory.
Jameis Winston threw for only 118 yards, while the Giants totaled just 238 yards. Tennessee actually moved the ball better statistically in some areas, but two turnovers — including Cam Ward's interception in the end zone in the final minute — proved costly.
Ward finished 23-of-36 for 181 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Wan'Dale Robinson caught seven passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy takeaway: not much fantasy goodness here. Robinson's touchdown saved his afternoon, while the Giants defense was the real story. Full box score →
Browns 21, 
Panthers 18
Cleveland survived a furious Carolina comeback.
The Panthers actually produced 360 total yards compared with Cleveland's 259, but the Browns won the turnover battle and made the critical plays late.
Deshaun Watson threw two touchdowns without an interception. Harold Fannin Jr. caught seven passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns.
Bryce Young threw for 291 yards and a touchdown but also had a costly interception at the end of the game.
Fantasy takeaway: Fannin was the fantasy surprise here with two touchdowns. Carolina's 360 yards show the offense was capable of moving the football, but the scoring opportunities didn't consistently translate. Full box score →
Colts 19, 
Texans 17
Indianapolis survived a late Houston push.
Daniel Jones threw for 235 yards and a touchdown, while Keenan Allen caught six passes for 63 yards and a score. Jonathan Taylor carried the ball 23 times for 68 yards.
C.J. Stroud finished with 167 passing yards and a touchdown.
The Colts turned the ball over three times but still managed to win because Houston couldn't generate enough offense. The decisive play came with just 21 seconds remaining when Indianapolis hit a 53-yard field goal.
Fantasy takeaway: another reminder that fantasy production doesn't always follow the scoreboard. Keenan Allen's touchdown made the difference for his fantasy day, while the Houston offense remained relatively limited. Full box score →
Steelers 30, 
Bengals 27
And then there was Pittsburgh-Cincinnati. This one went right down to the wire, and the actual sequence of the ending is worth getting exactly right.
Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes, including a 38-yard connection with Roman Wilson in the first quarter and a shorter one to DK Metcalf in the third quarter that put Pittsburgh up 23-20. That Metcalf score wasn't part of the game's final drive — Cincinnati answered right back with a touchdown of its own early in the fourth to retake a 24-27 lead.
From there, Chris Boswell did the actual closing. He first tied the game 27-27 with a 36-yard field goal, and after Cincinnati's next drive stalled, kicked the real game-winner — a 33-yarder with 2:18 remaining.
Joe Burrow still had one more shot, but Derrick Harmon ended it with a strip-sack, and Sebastian Joseph-Day recovered the fumble to seal it.
Rodgers finished 19-of-34 for 292 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception. Burrow was sharper by the numbers — 28-of-37 for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns, no picks — connecting with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins among his scores, but two lost fumbles were the difference.
Fantasy takeaway: the Steelers found enough offense when they needed it, spread across three different pass-catchers, while Cincinnati's two fumbles undid an otherwise efficient day through the air. Full box score →

💰 THE BIGGEST FANTASY/BETTING TAKEAWAYS
Detroit's offense continues to create explosive fantasy opportunities, and now it's doing it through three different players at once.
Seattle's 437-yard performance shows just how misleading the final score can be for fantasy purposes — a pick-six is the only reason that game wasn't a laugher going the other way.
Buffalo proved that turnovers can completely distort a box score. Five turnovers and the Bills still won by eight.
Jacksonville's 35-point explosion deserves attention going into next week.
The Jets' passing game produced despite the loss. Geno, Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq all produced strong numbers, and this one was genuinely a two-possession comeback that briefly tied it before Detroit's final answer.
And perhaps the biggest lesson from the early window:
Don't judge a fantasy player solely by the team result. Several of today's best fantasy performances came from players whose teams lost.
