Load this week’s board and this brief fills with the real count — how many games are priced, how many legs clear the bar at your leg count, and which ones cross both the 3 and the 7.

A teaser is not a discount. You are buying six points and paying for them in price, and the only question that matters is whether the points you bought sit where games actually finish. Football margins pile up on 3 and 7 — roughly one game in ten lands exactly on 3, one in eighteen on 7 — so a leg that drags a favourite from −7.5 down through both numbers is a different bet from one that moves −13.5 to −7.5 and crosses nothing but empty space. Same six points, same price, wildly different ticket.

That is the whole job of this page: it takes every spread on this week’s board, teases both sides of every game, works out what each leg is really worth, and tells you the number your ticket needs to break even at the price you are being offered. A leg that clears it is flagged; one that does not is left on the page so you can see why it failed rather than wondering.

One thing worth knowing before you play one: if a teased leg lands exactly on its number it is a push, and most books drop that leg and pay the ticket down a rung — a three-teamer with a push pays as a two. A few void the whole thing. Six-point teasers land on the hook more often than people expect, so it is worth knowing which kind your book is before the ball kicks off.
