How it works

If two players were independent, the chance both hit would be the two rates multiplied. Correlation measures how far the real joint rate sits from that.

About the DFS correlation calculator

Correlation measures how two players' scores move together: a quarterback and his own receivers tend to rise and fall together, which is why tournament lineups stack them. The calculator shows how a pairing changes the spread of outcomes for a lineup, so you can see when a stack adds the upside a tournament needs.

Why stack in tournaments and not cash games?
