Each player's number tonight comes from the projection engine — his recent games, the opponent's rank against his position, home or road, the park or the surface, rest, the weather, the house engine's game script — and is shown against his plain average so you see the lift the matchup gives him. Beside it, his own graded over rate on that market from our book. The call scores both: the projection's lift over his baseline, how often he has actually cleared the number, and the size of the number itself in his position's main market. The higher score starts. Every input is printed; nothing is a black box.
