NFL Week 4 Sunday: DFS Targets, Betting Lines, Injuries, Parlays And Teasers

By FantasyDailies · October 4, 2026

Week 4 is here, and Sunday brings a loaded NFL slate with 14 games on the schedule, including the 9:30 AM ET London kickoff between Indianapolis and Washington. The afternoon slate is loaded with fantasy and betting opportunities, but injuries are already reshaping several games.

The biggest DFS question marks are coming from Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York and Washington, while the betting board features several large favorites and a handful of games sitting directly on the key number of three. If you want the full breakdown of the London game by itself, including why Terry McLaurin being out matters so much, 1st String Podcast covers Washington and nothing but Washington, twice a week, and today's matchup is exactly the kind of game that show was built for.

The two games carrying the highest totals are Jacksonville at Cincinnati and Detroit at Carolina, both at 51.5, while Miami-Minnesota and Green Bay-Tampa Bay sit at only 38.5.

WEEK 4 BETTING BOARD

BroncosBroncos @ 49ers49ers: SF -3, total 47.5
LionsLions @ PanthersPanthers: DET -3.5, total 51.5

These are market snapshots rather than guaranteed closing numbers, sportsbooks can differ and lines can move substantially when late injury news hits. The Line Checker and line movement track exactly how far any of these have already shifted since the week opened.

DFS PLAYERS TO WATCH

QB: Trevor Lawrence | Jaguars

One of my favorite salary-adjusted quarterback plays is Trevor Lawrence against Cincinnati.

His current passing-yard projection is around 260.5 yards, while he is priced at only $5,900 in the main-slate DFS pricing. He is currently projected as a QB2 despite that price tag suggesting much cheaper.

The game carries a massive 51.5-point total, giving Jacksonville-Cincinnati the highest projected scoring environment on the Sunday afternoon board.

DFS angle: Lawrence plus a Jacksonville receiver is one of the cleaner correlation stacks of the week. DFS Edge has the full build.

RB: Kenneth Walker III | Seahawks

Walker is one of the strongest high-volume running back options on the slate.

He is listed at $8,200 in current DFS pricing and is coming off a massive fantasy start to the season. Seattle is also a substantial favorite against the Chargers.

If Seattle gets ahead, Walker has the type of workload that can turn a good DFS play into a slate-breaking one.

DFS angle: Walker is particularly attractive in lineups built around Seattle controlling the game.

WR: Zay Flowers | Ravens

Baltimore is favored by more than 10 points against Tennessee, and Flowers remains one of the most interesting ways to gain exposure to the Ravens passing game.

The Ravens-Titans matchup has a 42.5-point total, but Baltimore's implied scoring expectation remains attractive because of the massive spread.

DFS angle: Flowers provides explosive-play upside without requiring the salary of the most expensive receivers.

WR: Puka Nacua | Rams

This is one of the biggest injury-related DFS situations of the entire slate.

Nacua returns against Philadelphia after missing two games with a hip injury. He practiced in full Friday and carries no injury designation. Aaron Donald is out for the Rams with a back injury, along with tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Jaylen Watson.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia will be without DeVonta Smith, ruled out with a hamstring injury that is expected to cost him multiple games, along with Dallas Goedert, Marquise Brown, linebacker Zack Baun and safety Marcus Epps.

That makes Rams-Eagles particularly interesting from a DFS perspective.

DFS angle: Nacua returning immediately gives Matthew Stafford a massive upgrade in his receiving options.

WR VALUE: Dontayvion Wicks | Eagles

Philadelphia's receiver room has been hammered. DeVonta Smith is out, Marquise Brown is also out, and the Eagles are down to a handful of healthy wide receivers.

Wicks is consequently one of the obvious value players to investigate. Current DFS pricing lists him around $4,300.

DFS angle: don't confuse value with certainty. Wicks' attractiveness is almost entirely connected to the expanded opportunity created by Philadelphia's injuries.

WR: Parker Washington | Jaguars

Another cheap receiver getting significant DFS attention is Jacksonville's Parker Washington.

The Jaguars-Bengals game has the slate's highest total, and Washington is in an excellent position for Week 4.

DFS angle: Washington provides a way to get exposure to the 51.5-point game without paying premium receiver prices.

TE VALUE: Kenyon Sadiq | Jets

The Jets have already lost Breece Hall and several other important offensive pieces.

Sadiq broke out in Week 3 with seven receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown, and New York's continuing injury problems could keep him heavily involved.

DFS angle: if his salary remains suppressed after that performance, he is exactly the type of tight end value worth considering.

THE INJURY REPORT THAT MATTERS

EaglesEagles: Major offensive losses

Philadelphia is dealing with a brutal injury situation.

OUT: DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Marquise Brown (ankle), Dallas Goedert (knee), Zack Baun (concussion), Fred Johnson (offensive tackle), Marcus Epps (safety, groin).

Smith's absence is particularly important, the expectation around the team is that he misses multiple games, not just this one. This is not just fantasy news, it potentially changes Philadelphia's offensive distribution and personnel packages.

RamsRams: Puka returns, Aaron Donald out

The Rams get their biggest offensive weapon back with Puka Nacua cleared to play with no designation.

But they will be without Aaron Donald, who is dealing with back soreness, plus tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Jaylen Watson. Sean McVay decided Donald was not worth risking further injury.

That creates a fascinating DFS split: Puka is an upgrade, the Rams defense is a downgrade, and Matthew Stafford is a potential upgrade.

49ers49ers-BroncosBroncos: WATCH THE INJURY NEWS

San Francisco enters the game 3-0, but the defensive side of the ball is dealing with injuries. Nick Bosa is out, while other San Francisco pass rushers have been limited.

The 49ers are currently around -3, with the total around 47.5. San Francisco also elevated veteran pass rusher Matthew Judon, who is expected to make his 49ers debut.

The biggest offensive question is Mike Evans, who is questionable with a rib injury but intends to play.

DFS rule: if Evans receives a surprise downgrade before kickoff, San Francisco's defensive matchup becomes even more attractive.

JetsJets-BearsBears: THE WEIRD GAME OF THE WEEK

This one deserves attention because of the quarterback situation.

Chicago is currently around -3.5, and the Bears have ruled out Caleb Williams for a second straight week with a hamstring injury. Tyson Bagent gets the Week 4 start after clearing concussion protocol and taking the majority of first-team reps in practice, even after Case Keenum threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns in a stunning 27-7 win over Philadelphia last week. Keenum backs up Bagent rather than the other way around.

The Jets also have significant injuries, including Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, Mason Taylor, Dylan Parham and Kiko Mauigoa, all out, with Kingsley Enagbare questionable. Minkah Fitzpatrick is expected to return.

And don't overlook Kenyon Sadiq, who could continue seeing significant targets after his breakout Week 3 performance.

LONDON GAME: ColtsColts VS. CommandersCommanders

The day starts at 9:30 AM ET in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Washington is dealing with a major quarterback injury: Jayden Daniels is out again with the elbow issue, which means Marcus Mariota starts for the second straight week after beating Seattle. Also out are Rachaad White, Samuel Cosmi and Nick Cross.

Terry McLaurin is officially questionable with a hamstring injury that popped up Friday, but he is not expected to play, which puts Stefon Diggs at the top of Washington's receiver room.

Indianapolis will be without Keenan Allen, while Ashton Dulin is questionable.

The Colts are currently around -3.5 to -4.5 depending on the book, with the total in the mid-to-high 40s.

DFS warning: McLaurin's status is critical, don't lock him into DFS lineups before the final inactive report. 1st String Podcast is all over this game specifically if you want the deepest Washington-side read available anywhere, Commanders coverage and nothing else, twice a week.

BEST DFS GAME ENVIRONMENTS

Tier 1: JaguarsJaguars at BengalsBengals

Total: 51.5. Quarterbacks: Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow. Receivers: Parker Washington, Ja'Marr Chase.

This is the obvious shootout environment. Joe Burrow's passing-yard prop is currently around 267.5, while Lawrence is around 260.5.

Tier 2: LionsLions at PanthersPanthers

Total: 51.5. This is the Sunday night game and the other monster-total matchup. Detroit is favored by roughly 3.5 points.

Jared Goff's passing-yard projection is around 260.5, while Bryce Young is around 241.5.

Tier 3: BroncosBroncos at 49ers49ers

Total: 47.5. This could be one of the best late-window DFS games.

Brock Purdy's passing projection is around 229.5, with San Francisco favored by approximately three. The 49ers are also coming off a 3-0 start and have one of the league's most efficient offenses through three weeks.

The Snake Sports Talk Show goes deep on exactly this kind of game-environment read, Jake Silva covers NFL, NBA and MLB three nights a week, and if you want a second opinion on which of these three tiers is actually the best DFS build before you lock a lineup, that is the show to catch.

PLAYER PROPS TO WATCH

Rather than firing blindly at every prop on the board, concentrate on props connected to game environments.

Joe Burrow, passing yards: around 267.5. Jacksonville-Cincinnati has the highest total of the day.

Trevor Lawrence, passing yards: around 260.5. Excellent correlation with the Jaguars' receivers.

Jared Goff, passing yards: around 260.5. Detroit-Carolina carries a 51.5 total.

Patrick Mahomes, passing yards: around 240.5. Kansas City is favored over Las Vegas, with the game carrying a 47.5 total.

Brock Purdy, passing yards: around 229.5. The San Francisco passing game gets an intriguing matchup against Denver.

These numbers are consensus snapshots and can change by sportsbook and throughout Sunday. Every prop at the best price and BetScore are live now, and devig any of these before you bet them.

PARLAY BOARD

I am not interested in putting six or seven favorites together just because the payout looks sexy. That is how sportsbooks make money.

My preferred 3-leg concept: 49ers49ers -3, ChiefsChiefs -4.5, RavensRavens moneyline.

The idea is to use teams with strong home-field situations and substantial talent advantages rather than trying to predict every close game. The parlay generator can build this exact shape off today's full card, and the Parlay Doctor will grade it before you fire it.

SAME-GAME PARLAY IDEA

JaguarsJaguars vs. BengalsBengals: Trevor Lawrence 250-plus passing yards, Joe Burrow 250-plus passing yards, Ja'Marr Chase anytime touchdown.

This is a pure game-script bet, you are betting that the 51.5 total is not lying and both quarterbacks are forced into significant passing volume. It is higher variance than a straight wager, but that is the entire point of an SGP.

TEASER BET

This is where the Week 4 board gets interesting. The traditional teaser concept is to move a favorite from a dangerous number toward a much safer number.

Potential teams worth examining: RavensRavens -11.5 to -5.5, VikingsVikings -10.5 to -4.5, SeahawksSeahawks -7 to -1.

The key is not to tease just because a team is favored, you are looking for numbers where moving six points crosses important NFL scoring margins. Baltimore and Minnesota are particularly interesting because the market has them as double-digit favorites. The teaser generator and the half-point calculator price exactly what each hook is actually worth.

THREE BETS I LIKE MOST

1. JaguarsJaguars-BengalsBengals over 51.5. The highest-total game on the afternoon board, featuring two quarterbacks with passing-yard projections above 260. Lean: over.

2. 49ers49ers -3. San Francisco is undefeated and enters with an offense that has been extremely efficient. Denver is good enough to make this uncomfortable, which is exactly why I prefer laying three rather than chasing a larger number. Lean: 49ers -3.

3. ChiefsChiefs-RaidersRaiders over 47.5. Kansas City is favored by roughly 4.5, but Las Vegas should have opportunities to contribute to the scoring. Lean: over.

UNDERDOGS WORTH A LOOK

The best underdog is not necessarily the team most likely to win, it is the team where the market may have given you too many points.

Three numbers I would monitor: JaguarsJaguars +2.5, BroncosBroncos +3, EaglesEagles +3.

All three are sitting around important NFL numbers, making line movement especially important. If Jaguars-Bengals moves from +2.5 to +3, that extra half-point becomes meaningful. Same thing with Denver and Philadelphia.

FANTASYDAILIES SUNDAY CHEAT SHEET

Best DFS QB: Trevor Lawrence
Best expensive RB: Kenneth Walker III
Best WR returning from injury: Puka Nacua
Best value WR: Parker Washington
Best injury-created value: Dontayvion Wicks
Best TE value: Kenyon Sadiq
Best DFS game: JaguarsJaguars vs. BengalsBengals
Best late-window game: BroncosBroncos vs. 49ers49ers
Highest-total games: JaguarsJaguars-BengalsBengals and LionsLions-PanthersPanthers, both 51.5
Lowest-total games: PackersPackers-BuccaneersBuccaneers and DolphinsDolphins-VikingsVikings, both 38.5
Biggest favorite: RavensRavens -11.5
Best teaser candidates: Baltimore, Minnesota, Seattle

FINAL SUNDAY STRATEGY

The biggest mistake on Week 4 Sunday would be treating every injury as equal. Some injuries completely change a game, others barely matter.

DeVonta Smith being out matters. Jayden Daniels being out matters. Caleb Williams being out matters. Puka Nacua returning matters. Aaron Donald being out matters. And Mike Evans's final status matters.

Those are not just names on an injury report, they can change targets, defensive matchups, game scripts and ultimately betting lines. For DFS, attack the opportunities created by injuries rather than automatically avoiding injured teams. For betting, shop the number, a team at -3 is dramatically different from that same team at -3.5, and a total of 51.5 is different from 53.5. And for parlays, three strong opinions beats six mediocre ones.

The NFL is already unpredictable enough. You do not need to make it harder by turning every Sunday bet into a seven-leg lottery ticket.

FantasyDailies Week 4 approach: find the injury-created value, attack the highest-quality game environments, respect the key numbers, and let everybody else chase yesterday's box scores.

TALK IT THROUGH WITH THE NETWORK

Not Moved's Sunday morning show runs before the early window locks and is fielding start/sit questions and lineup advice live, right up until kickoff, exactly when you still have time to act on an answer.
