Thirteen games, a London kickoff and a trade report that could change the fantasy football board before lunch. Week 5 has a 4-0 49ers team at 3-1 Seattle, two winless teams meeting in Tennessee, a Ravens offense without Lamar Jackson and a Bears quarterback situation that is not settled. Your survivor pool can be decided by the early window, and one inactive list can undo a full slate of research. Start with the Week 5 board and the Week 5 matchups, then use this guide for the injuries that matter.
Every call on this site comes from one place, the NFL verdicts. This article gives you the facts around them: who is out, who is questionable, who is starting and where to build a ticket with the NFL parlay builder, the AI parlay builder and the teaser generator. Numbers move all day, so none are printed here.
The Marvin Harrison Jr. Trade Report
The biggest story heading into Sunday is Marvin Harrison Jr.. Reports on Saturday say the
Cardinals are finalizing a trade for the former fourth overall pick and that he is expected to be inactive against the
Lions while it comes together. Nothing is official until the teams or the league announce it, so the destination and the return should be treated as unconfirmed. Track it on the NFL transactions page and the NFL player news feed.
What it changes on Sunday:
- Trey McBride is the first name to check in the Arizona passing game, with Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne also in the receiver mix.
- Any prop market on Harrison needs a settlement check. Void and refund rules differ from one market to the next, so read the rules on your slip.
- Detroit's defense faces a different set of receivers, but a missing receiver does not decide a game on its own.
- In fantasy, treat Harrison as an inactive player until the official list says otherwise. Check the start/sit board and the start/sit tool before kickoff.

Toilet Watch: The Teams Under the Most Pressure
Records going into Sunday for the teams that need a result most:
Dolphins: 0-4, hosting Cincinnati.
Texans and
Titans: both 0-4, and one of them will leave the winless column.
Chargers: 0-4, at home against Denver.
Jets: 1-3, home against a Cleveland team that is 3-1.
Cardinals: 1-3, with the Harrison trade report hanging over the week.
Commanders: 1-3, with Daniels coming back from an elbow injury.
Saints: 1-3, hosting an unbeaten Vikings team.
The winless teams are tracked on the team streaks page, and the ATS records show how each has fared in the betting market.
Injury-Driven Prop Markets to Check
Player props follow the inactive list. These markets depend on a status that was not final on Saturday, so check them before game time:
- Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins for Cincinnati, both questionable.
- Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison for Minnesota, both questionable.
- Ashton Jeanty for Las Vegas, questionable with a foot and ankle injury.
- Seattle's backfield, where Charbonnet is out and Holani is questionable.
- Trey McBride and the remaining Arizona receivers if Harrison is inactive.
- The Baltimore quarterback markets, where Jackson is out and Huntley is next up. A market on a player ruled out can be voided, so read the rules on your slip.

How to Build a Parlay Without Building a Lottery Ticket
Every extra leg adds another way for the ticket to lose. A four-leg parlay with four independent legs that are each a coin flip has a 6.25 percent chance of hitting. Real legs are not always independent, but the math shows why short tickets with a clear reason for every leg last longer than long ones.
- Keep it to two to four legs and write down why each one is there.
- Watch correlation. A starter ruled out can change a team result and a prop in the same game. The parlay doctor flags overlap.
- Wait for the inactives on any leg that depends on a questionable player.
- Size it with the probability calculator and the parlay calculator, read the parlay truth page and convert any price with the odds converter.
- Let the tools pick the sides. The NFL parlay builder and the verdicts are where the site's calls live.
Teasers: Why Three and Seven Matter
A teaser moves a spread by a set number of points in exchange for a lower payout. NFL bettors commonly work with six, six-and-a-half and seven-point teasers, depending on the book. The numbers that matter most are three and seven, because they are the most common margins of victory, so a teaser is most useful when it moves a side across both. It does not make a bet profitable on its own. The combined price, the quality of the teams and the rules on ties all matter. Build one with the teaser generator and test it with the teaser calculator and the NFL line check.
Middles: Two Numbers, One Window
A middle happens when you hold one side of a spread or total and later take the other side at a different number. If the final score lands between the two numbers, both tickets win. If it lands outside, one loses, and depending on the prices and stakes you can lose money even when the middle misses by a little. Line moves create the chance, so watch the line movement page, compare prices on the heat map and the EV tool, and find them with the middle finder. Size the second leg with the hedge calculator. A middle is a watchlist item, not a guaranteed opportunity.
DFS and Fantasy Role Watch
Daily fantasy rewards production relative to salary, so Sunday's role changes matter more than names. Check the live salary list before building, and run lineups through the NFL DFS edge, the NFL DFS page and the lineup shuffler.
- Arizona: targets may shift if Harrison is out, which puts McBride, Wilson and Bourne in focus.
- Minnesota: if Jefferson or Addison is limited, the remaining receivers and the run game may see more work.
- Seattle: with Charbonnet out and Holani questionable, the backfield workload needs to be confirmed before anyone is trusted.
- Las Vegas: New England is missing four cornerbacks, which puts the Raiders' receivers on the watch list. Route share and targets decide who benefits.
- Jacksonville: Philadelphia is missing Barkley, Smith and Brown, so the Jaguars' game environment is worth a look. An early lead can cut passing volume.
- Baltimore and Washington: both offenses change with their quarterback news, so wait for the final inactives.
In cash games, favor predictable volume. In tournaments, look for players who can beat their salary if the game goes in an unexpected direction.
The Sunday Checklist
- Confirm every questionable player's final status.
- Confirm the starting quarterback for the Bears, Browns, Commanders, Chargers and Ravens.
- Recheck Harrison's status and any announced trade details.
- Compare prop lines rather than taking the first number you see.
- Avoid stacking correlated legs without thinking through the game script.
- Compare teaser and middle prices before you commit.
- Set a bankroll limit and do not chase losses with extra parlays.
Statuses, records and kickoff times are as reported Saturday, October 10, 2026, and can change before the inactives are posted. Bet responsibly.
