This one kicks off at 9:30 AM Eastern, not 1 PM, and that is not a typo.
Commanders and
Colts are playing the NFL's first international game of 2026 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, with Washington designated the home team. Build your lineups and your lines around that early window, because the normal Sunday rhythm does not apply today.
THE SITUATION
Both teams arrive at 1-2, each coming off its first win of the season.
Commanders stunned the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks 33-31 last week, ending Seattle's 12-game winning streak.
Colts beat Houston 19-17. Both sides are trying to get to .500 on a stage neither really wanted this early in the year, given the travel and the early kickoff.
Weather is one less variable than usual here, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a retractable pitch and the roof situation removes most of the guesswork, but the early body clock is real. Washington left the United States Tuesday specifically to get extra time to acclimate, while Indianapolis had a more normal week.
THE BETTING LINE
Colts: -4.5 (-118)
Commanders: +4.5 (-102)
Moneyline: Colts -205 / Commanders +178
Total: 47.5
Kickoff: 9:30 AM ET
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
TV: NFL Network
That total is not an accident. Indianapolis's defense is allowing a league-worst 417.3 yards per game, and Washington is not a lot better at 27th. Both teams are 2-1 against the spread so far this season. The ATS board has the full breakdown, and the Line Checker shows how this number has moved since the week opened.
WASHINGTON'S QUARTERBACK SITUATION
Jayden Daniels is out again. He dislocated his left elbow against Dallas in Week 2, the second time in less than a year, and while he has avoided surgery and is not going on injured reserve, he is being managed as week-to-week. He was a limited practice participant this week wearing a brace, but Washington is not rushing him back for a 9:30 AM kickoff across an ocean.
That means Marcus Mariota starts again, and he has more than earned the trust. He went 19 of 31 for 183 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in the win over Seattle, and he actually has more wins than Daniels over his last nine starts for this franchise. His PFF grade when blitzed trails only Patrick Mahomes, and his big-time-throw rate ranks second in the league. This is not a backup-quality floor.
TERRY MCLAURIN IS OUT, AND THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING AT RECEIVER
Terry McLaurin popped up on the injury report Friday with a hamstring issue, officially questionable, but the beat reporting out of Washington is consistent: he is expected to miss this game. He had six catches for 77 yards and a 30-yard touchdown against Seattle before the injury surfaced.
With McLaurin out, Stefon Diggs moves to the top of Washington's receiver room. Diggs signed with the Commanders as a free agent this offseason specifically to give this offense a second real weapon, and he has already been targeted three times inside the 20-yard line this season, turning two of them into touchdowns. Dyami Brown and rookie Antonio Williams are in line for expanded roles behind him.
The depth chart and the injury report are worth one more check before kickoff, since this news is only a day or two old and practice-squad elevations can still move.
THE REST OF THE INJURY PICTURE
Commanders is also without running back Rachaad White (shoulder), which pushes more work to Jacory Croskey-Merritt in the backfield. Safety Nick Cross, a former Colt, was already ruled out heading into the week.
Colts is in better shape overall. Alec Pierce is on injured reserve with a heel injury, and Ashton Dulin is questionable with an ankle issue after missing the last two games. Mo Alie-Cox did not practice with an illness. Keenan Allen is questionable, but that one reads more like a veteran rest day, paired with Jonathan Taylor and cornerback Charvarius Ward both being managed the same way. Expect most of that group to play.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Marcus Mariota, Commanders. Four touchdown passes and zero interceptions this season. A real streaming option today, not just a game manager keeping the seat warm.
Stefon Diggs, Commanders. Instant WR1 with McLaurin out, against a defense bleeding yards at a league-worst rate. His anytime-touchdown price is sitting around +240 based on his red-zone usage alone.
Jonathan Taylor, Colts. Washington carries a top-three run defense, which makes this a tougher-than-usual spot on paper, but Taylor's receiving work could be the better angle if Indianapolis leans on him in the passing game instead of forcing it between the tackles.
Daniel Jones, Colts. Washington's run defense is strong, but its secondary is shorthanded and has been giving up touchdowns. That is the matchup to exploit, and it is why the total sits at 47.5 despite neither offense being considered explosive.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Commanders. With White out, he is the back on the field, against a defense giving up more yardage than anyone else in the league.
DFS AND PROP ANGLES
Every prop on this game is live now. The two numbers worth building around: Diggs' anytime-touchdown price given his red-zone target share, and the 47.5 total itself, since it is pricing in exactly the shootout potential that two bottom-tier defenses create.
DFS Edge and the lineup optimizer already have today's salaries loaded. An early-window slate like this one is also a useful standalone build if you are not mixing leagues, since there is no late-afternoon or Sunday-night overlap to manage.
Devig the Diggs touchdown price and any other prop before you bet it, and implied probability turns any of these numbers into the plain win rate they actually demand.
FANTASYDAILIES PROJECTION
Two shorthanded offenses, two defenses that cannot stop anybody, and a very early kickoff that could affect execution on both sides before either team finds its rhythm. Lean the total before you lean a side. Our full call is up now and graded openly on the public ledger the moment this one goes final.
Import your team, let the Roster Doctor grade what you're carrying into this early window, and settle it in Start or Sit before kickoff. The full Week 4 board has every other game today, all on a more normal clock.
