Method: a red zone trip is any drive that reaches the opponent's 20-yard line, counted once per possession. A trip scores if the drive ends in a touchdown. Field goals are not counted as red zone scores here (this is the touchdown-only definition, the same one TeamRankings publishes). Regular season only — playoff games are excluded so these line up with standard season stats. Built from official nflverse play-by-play.
