MAIN EVENT: RENATO MOICANO VS. TOM NOLAN
Lightweight, 155 pounds
Tonight's headliner is a clash between experience and momentum.
Renato Moicano (21-7-1), ranked No. 12 at lightweight, is the established contender, a veteran who has shared the cage with some of the toughest names in the division. He stepped into this fight after Brian Ortega pulled out of their UFC 331 matchup with an injury.
Across from him is Australia's Tom Nolan (11-1), a fellow ranked lightweight riding a five-fight winning streak that includes a win over Fares Ziam. This is Nolan's first UFC headliner.
Nolan has a chance to establish himself as a legitimate contender. Beating a veteran like Moicano would be the biggest win of his career and could push him toward the division's top 10.
The market: this is the closest fight on the main card, with Moicano a slight favorite. Compare the current numbers on the odds heat map and track any late moves on the line movement board.
Matchup to watch: Moicano's experience and technical approach against Nolan's momentum.
Significance: a Moicano win reinforces his place among the ranked contenders. A Nolan win could signal the arrival of a legitimate new lightweight threat.
CO-MAIN EVENT: RANDY BROWN VS. JACOBE SMITH
Welterweight, 170 pounds
Randy Brown brings experience, reach and an established UFC resume. Jacobe Smith, a late replacement for Carlos Leal, is unbeaten at 13-0, and all five of his UFC fights have ended inside the distance.
Smith is the clear favorite, but Brown's experience makes him an interesting underdog.
Matchup to watch: Smith's physicality and finishing ability against Brown's experience and striking range. With Smith's finishing rate, the round total in this one deserves a look.
REMAINING MAIN CARD
Ode' Osbourne vs. Cody Durden (flyweight): a true coin flip, with Durden the slightest of favorites. One of the more interesting fights on the card for straight bettors.
Yana Santos vs. Luana Santos (women's bantamweight): two ranked bantamweights. Luana is the favorite, while Yana has won three straight, all by unanimous decision, and the market expects this one to go the distance.
Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Farman Hasanov (welterweight): Lebosnoyani is 2-0 in the UFC, both by decision, and a solid favorite. Hasanov is unbeaten at 6-0 in his second UFC fight.

FINAL THOUGHTS
UFC Vegas 123 might not have championship gold on the line, but it has what makes fight nights interesting: fighters with plenty to prove.
Moicano is fighting to keep his standing among the lightweight contenders. Nolan is trying to jump from rising contender to legitimate threat. And Jacobe Smith has a chance to stay perfect in the welterweight division.
For bettors, the most important thing tonight is separating attractive payouts from real value. Don't confuse a big favorite with a sure winner.
