Is this a real app?

It behaves like one: its own icon, full screen, no address bar, and it remembers you. What it is not is a listing in Apple's App Store or Google Play — you install it straight from this page, which is why it takes three taps instead of a download.

Does it cost anything?

No. Installing is free and everything you can reach on the site you can reach in the app. A Velvet seat unlocks the picks, projections and prop boards the same way it does here.

Will it take up space?

Almost none — a couple of megabytes against the hundreds a normal app uses. It caches the pages you have opened so they load instantly and keep working when your signal drops.

How do I remove it?

The same way as any app: press and hold the icon and delete it. Nothing is left behind.

Can I get alerts?

Yes, once it is on your home screen — the day's card, a line moving on a player you follow, a pick locking. On iPhone that needs iOS 16.4 or newer; on Android it works straight away.
